Catching Up

A few days ago Montana experienced an earthquake which was 5.6 on the Richter scale but I haven't heard much since. This is a photo taken in August 2007 while hiking up to the Grinnell Glacier. If it hasn't completely melted this is where it was located above the Grinnell Lake. On this particular day the air temperature was in the low 90's (f) and the air was hot and dry. When I reached the glacier, I took my socks and hiking boots off and placed my feet in the ice water.

I'm curious how the earthquake affected the glacier? It is easy enough to Google the news stories, but I'd rather hear from someone who might have been hiking up and was within sight of the glacier during the earthquake. Of course that means they would have been aware of the earthquake as it shook the earth.
